    Thanks for the suggestions and links. I'm checking them out. I'm sure others are as well.

    I never tire of excellent drum grooves. To me, it is often the foundation of so many great songs. At times they can sound quite simple but rarely ever are (to execute them with the proper human pushing and pulling.).

    John Bonham's groove on Kashmir remains hypnotic to me.

    I agree with the suggestion of Bernie Purdie's groove on Steely Dan's Home at Last - a lasting favorite of mine.

    Dennis Davis' drum track on David Bowie's - Stay I liked for a nice tight pocket and keeping the fills simple and musical.
