I just won this on Ebay and have been comparing this to a 20 bit K-2 JVC Japanese disc. At first, I didn't hear a lot of difference, but then I started to notice that the bass and tenor sax were much bigger and the bass went much lower and the cymbals were shimmering , but not nearly as bright as the JVC(by the way, this is not an XRCD). Steve, you did a great job on this one.Its too bad you couldn't do "Some like It Hot" and "Coop" also.:)

I once asked Steve the SAME question about "Some Like It Hot". He said that he actually mastered it, but DCC chose not to release it at that time. Arggh!!!! I bet that is an amazing sounding recording.

The best part of "Coop" for me is that great cover shot! ;)
