And compared to the wall of noise at the live show, I could make out the words and the instruments :)

    From her official facebook page:
    "Hello St. Vincent Fans!
Following the taping for Late Night With David Letterman this Wednesday, July 16 (airing July 17), St. Vincent will be playing an exclusive 45min set for “Live On Letterman”, a live-stream web series available on demand online, and we want YOU to be our studio audience.
To win tickets to this intimate show held at Letterman studios in New York City, submit your own personal redesign of the “St. Vincent” Album cover, using the hashtag ‪#‎digitalwitness‬. We will then contact the winners directly with instructions. Good luck!

I hate it when contest instructions don't announce the criteria by which winners will be chosen. Not that I'm planning to enter, just a pet peeve.

No, I'm in New York State, but a good 4+ hours from NYC...and I've got lots going on this week- clients a-plenty the next few days at my acupuncture clinic before I go see Donna The Buffalo (& others) at the Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg, NY, near Ithaca, NY, then onwards to 3 days of intensive Shamanic work.

And... I'm going to see her for free, at a full length show, in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NYC on August 9th & trying to do this, even if I could win, would be just too much...but I'll be very excited to see what she chooses to highlight for her 45 minute concert!!

Watch St. Vincent’s Live On Letterman Webcast

St. Vincent is one of the most ferocious and compelling live acts operating right now, and that means she’s an ideal choice for the Late Show With David Letterman’s Live On Letterman webcast series, in which bands play full sets in Letterman’s Ed Sullivan Theater. Last night, she played on that stage for nearly an hour, entering through the crowd with a bizarre ballerina walk and then ripping through much of her recent self-titled album. And judging by the robotic art-star persona she projected all over that stage, Annie Clark is approaching Björk levels of weirdo swagger, with the added benefit that she can absolutely shred on her guitar when she so chooses. Watch the performance below.

    thanks for the new link

She even smiled, stealthly grabbed the Marry Me lp I was holding and signed the cover " To Tom x o xo St Vincent"

I'm really happy to see her get her due
Her choreography reminds me of Bowie mid seventies

"Severed Crossed Fingers" is from her latest album "St. Vincent" (last song on it).

"Black Rainbow" and "The Bed" were part of the setlist when I saw her in February. I'm not sure about "Chloe In The Afternoon".

    ConnieGuitar Here in my balloon...

Just had to bump this as she was simply sublime last night in Brooklyn! Definitely one of the best shows I've *ever* seen.

Best part was my partner and I held her as she came over the rail! WOW.

Still in awe and also officially declaring our love!
