I really like Mr. Shatner. But he is a text book example of Narcissist.

 

The big joke for me was, when he held up his hand and said "promise", I thought he should have done the Vulcan greeting(with spread fingers)!!!

Oh, yeah! Having the Saavik character appear in ST6 would have made a lot of sense.

Didn't Saavik have some Romulan ancestry? (Seems as though i read that in the ST2 novelization.) That would have made the character's betrayal of the Federation a lot easier to believe than that of a Vulcan Star Fleet officer who graduated at the top of her class. I could picture someone who was part Romulan conspiring against a Federation-Klingon alliance because of how it would threaten the Romulan empire.
