Maybe so, but thanks to this thread, i now have a copy of the SH remastered version. While i was at it, i picked the SH remastered CD of The Mamas and Papas 16 GH. Fantastic stuff.

Try to find a copy of Steve's Aja(only Japan copies); it'll blow you away!

Love, love, love Steve's Who's Next. THE definitive version!

Gladly, Evan! I love the Aja album. Any pointers? Is there a Japanese importer who is known to be selling that version?

Steve's version of Aja was the first 5000 CDs pressed in Japan back in the 80's. They are hard to find, but worth the search. I play mine all the time. Search the forum for more info.

I have a feeling that if one more "Question about Steve's Who's Next" thread is posted, the forum member may experience "A Legal Matter."

Personally, I could happily read "Who's Next" threads all day but I think some people have "Had Enough" so "Baby, Don't You Do It!" :)

Could this be the keyword to start a nice Meaty, Big and Bouncy thread? I had mine already, so don't worry... ;-)

Well, at least this monster did SOME good. I've felt guilty ever since started this thread. It friggin' won't die. If you ever want some attention or to see your handle in print over and over again.....just dial up www.stevehoffman.tv, click "new thread", and type the words "Who's Next". :D

Oooh yes. I got that one too when I got Who's Next. I'd never heard The Who before and those two discs are most certainly one of the better ways to start :).

You don't even need to be on topic within the actual thread, just make sure it's on the subject. You can post a picture of Anna Kournikova inside :D.

Okay, you're on. Let's see how far out of hand this collective forum "Who's Next" obsession goes. See my latest "Who's Next" thread. Here we go....

Imagine a Man from My Generation who doesn't have the one best Who's Next.
    It's Hard but true.
For the best version ever, there's no Substitute for Steve's Canadian MCA 37217.
I Can't Explain all the reasons why, but don't Fiddle About, get yerself Goin' Mobile and grab you a copy Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere.
Play it loud, Relax and let the Sensation wash over you.
Don't turn it down till the last Song is Over.

If you heed that simple advice, you Won't Get Fooled Again.

    Even My Wife loves it!

Time Is Passing but I have Faith In Something Bigger that this Amazing Journey will continue even if we have to do it One At A Time.

The Ox has gone to the Dogs, so I'm One who's Blue, Red, and Grey now that the Song Is Over.

    So sha' up!

Came out in '84, only 5000(or less)copies pressed. Look for it used, the only way you'll find it. It was the domestic MCA version, pressed in Japan.

I picked up a vinyl copy about a week ago, guy who sold it to me said it was a 'Simply Vinyl" re-issue. I haven't had the chance to open/play - should I rush home or take my time?
    Paid $8 BTW.

    SH remastered AJA

    Thanks, Evan.
I scanned the archives on this topic. Holy smokes! The tenacity of this forum's members never ceases to amaze me. I've got the particulars on SH remaster, so i will now begin my quest.
Silly question, probably, but if i should happen to find more than one, would it be improper to offer them in the Classifieds area, or am i the last guy in the forum to have one of these?

If you manage to have two, offer one to John Carsell!

I stumbled across mine, somehow. Hopefully you'll have the same luck.
