Ed, amen to that. I've only been ripped once on Ebay getting a cd-r instead of the real McCoy.

If it's to good to be true, it's probably a fake.

    That makes sense!

Only one thing, most sources say that the London CDs were replaced by the Abkco CDs in Germany in 1995.

The 1995 was probably a typo.

As I see that "ear label" issue is in STEREO!!

Once I asked if the ROLLING STONES first album CD issued in Germany was in STEREO (processed one of course).
Then someone posted link to the very informative site ... but still I could no find the answer.

    Here it IS

It is stated STEREO on the picture attached by joachim.ritter

Any infos on the quality of those recordings ??

Any mentions of "stereo" on the first album are typos. Every CD release that I've heard is straight mono.

Found W.German London Aftermath and Let It Bleed. Both sound great.Aftermath has Digitally ReMastered in upper left hand of corner and London and ABKCO emblem on the CD.Let It Bleed doesn't have the ABKCO emblem. What was the tie-in between ABKCO and London on the Aftermath CD? Thanks.
