Strange IPOD "ripping" issue

the solution can be found on the ipod lounge. this is a very common problem it seems. the solution involves playing every first track from each cd you ripped on the ipod while it is hooked up to the computer. in other words, plug the ipod into the computer, then go under the ipod track lists on itunes and play a few seconds of every first track. there are macros around you can download to make this a little easier. i'll search the ipod lounge forum and see if i can find the appropriate thread. ww

 

i'm too stupid to figure out the exact link but if you search ipod skip macro on the ipodlounge forum it tells how to solve the first song skip. also ran across other fixes for random skips in the middle of songs on the forum if that's your problem. ww
