    RIP.

I was too young to know of the Lolita movie when it was current, but I can see why she was cast as Lolita.

BTW I went to Google - Sue Lyon Today - hoping to see a picture how how she looked as an old woman, but wasn't successful :(

Is she actually performing on this? I have the Nelson Riddle version on cd and don't recollect her name appearing in connection with it?

The B side is a Lesley Gore soundalike. I fully believe it's her on both sides of the record.

Lyon’s longtime friend Phil Syracopoulos told the New York Times she had been experiencing poor health for some time.

Great movie and Sue made a great Lolita. From the second you saw that shot of her lounging on the lawn you knew Humbert was in big trouble...

Most stars who were well known have much-later-in-life pictures that don't get used as clickbait for "see what happened to her" horror shows.

Be nice to see one of Sue that doesn't look like her privacy was being intruded upon.

I'm not sure how recent. She looks older here than any other picture I could find. I didn't spend more than 3 minutes to be honest.

One of my favorite movies. Peter Sellers was over the top, but James Mason and Shelley Winters were brilliant.

One of mine too. It's very dark, probably untenable today due to theme, but brilliant and hilarious.

Sue Lyons said many times that she ended up despising that role, though she played it perfectly. I'm sad to hear that she has passed.

I saw the movie when it was new, and I fully agree that the four main actors were all superb!

Requiescat in Pacem. Miss Lyon. She was only 2-1/2 months older than I am......

Sad news. Made me think of this video tribute to her on Donavan's Sunshine Superman. Rest in peace.

Really hope a new blu-ray (or 4K) release comes soon. The existing blu-ray from 2011 isn't great, and the movie deserves better.

The film's title sequence awoke something dark in Quentin Tarantino...

No, it's not a recent picture of Sue Lyon (RIP). That picture in question was snapped during the late 1990's.
