Yes!!! I placed an order with Music Direct back in April, and I see they just charged me for it. Excited to finally add this to my collection.

 

I placed the order in 2017 with Germany Dacapo website, I hope they will ship soon !

I didn’t think it was going to happen! Just ordered mine. Don’t know if it is going to beat my old MFSL on vinyl but we’ll see. Guess that one isn’t worth $150 anymore!

 

Glad there is a dedicated thread started for this. Will be fun reading everyone’s comments once they start arriving. A top five all time album for me, and I bought it on day one back in ‘79 as well. I have the older MFSL on vinyl and I think it sounds fantastic. I don’t know how they can improve it, but if they did I’ll find out! That’s one you almost never see for sale used. There are so many incredible layers to that album it will be a fun listen!

Got a notice on it from my brother this morning. FINALLY! Preordered I believe in December of 2016!

 

Yeah wow. Pretty sure they’ll need updated credit card info from me. It’s been so long the card I ordered it on has been updated.

 

When it comes in, can someone post a review? I'm interested, but, I'll wait until someone can confirm it's worth getting.

 

I think Knopfler is going to make us wait till he's done releasing new material.

 

I know this album extremely well and have numerous copies inc the old MFSL vinyl. Will definitely post a thorough review when my copy comes in.

 

Thanks Jrr. Curious as well, I love the old 82. While I have the latest SACD of it, I still go back to the old MFSL mastering.
