    Hello Steve,

What can you tell us about the unreleased
CD of the complete Hite Morgan material?

What kind of condition are the master
tapes in? Is there more stereo than
the original "Lost and Found" on Sundazed?

Just more takes and breakdowns. The DCC version has a great sampling of what was there.

A DCC pal had licensed the complete tapes from the Morgan family, but was stopped in his tracks by a "You Can't Do This" notice. So, there it stands....

Too bad, but the cream is on the DCC disc.

Collector's Choice Music had the "Complete Hite Morgan" tape sessions in its catalogue for a while in 1999-2000, but, as Steve says, they were never issued because of legal hassles.

Steve, is the Sundazed LP of this material taken from the DCC CD version? Which is better? Thanks!

The Sundazed version is from a tape I prepared for them.

Try and find the DCC original CD.

    Steve,
I've had the original CD for years now and it's still one of my favorites. If anyone sees a copy of it don't hesitate to by it.
Also thank you for the Buddy Holly LP "For The First Time Anywhere". It was one of the first non-Beatle LP's I bought and my intro Buddy & the Crickets.

Steve, I have the Vintage Music series you remastered while at MCA. I still enjoy the music fifteen years later. Thanks!
