Side 1 is in many ways the pinnacle of the Fab Four and Side 2 where they began in earnest their efforts to be something more - though in retrospect it was clearly only something different as nothing "more" was even possible.

Had the delightful experience of working up covers of all of side 1 (the whole US album) with 2 other singers for the 50th anniversary, and the even more delightful experience of fronting a band at The Cavern playing the first 2 tracks last September.

 

A Day in the Life / Sympathy for the Devil / Stairway to Heaven - these are 10/10 songs to me.
