    Location:
    Lancashire
    ...comprising The Beiderbecke Affair, The Beiderbecke Tapes, and The Beiderbecke Connection. Three series which aired on UK TV in 1985, 1987 and 1988, with understated dry humour a-plenty. The characters were a delight, as was the music. Have any of the series ever been shown on US or Canadian TV?

    Not seen this show since it was first broadcast, but I remember liking it quite a bit.

    I bought the DVD box set a few years back and was so pleased that the quality of the shows was as good as I remembered. When you come down to it, there's really very little in the way of plots, it's more about musings on life.
