It was a great documentary, really well done.

 

Yes it is.

 

Three first episode are pretty good. You actually believe that they look back at their story with a critical eye. But man... that last episode... that's just pure masturbation. look at all the money we make, all the decisions they make are the best ever, their lives are soooo perfect now... It made me cringe all the way through. As an (amateur) audiophile, the most hilarious part is the whole section on their stupidly overpriced headphones. Especially when Dre tries some Grado and then shake his head. LIKE REALLY?
All in all, it's just a propaganda tool dedicated to the glory of Iovine and Dre. Just a little bit sickening to watch. And coming from someone who really likes Dre's music, it's saddening.
