The Early Beatles

Wanted to share this as I just came across it and thought it was very well done! What do you think?

 

Fab. Puts the original to shame.

I haven't seen that cover before. It looks like the same as the old Capitol Records "Early Beatles" that I remember.

Was this picture taken by Robert Freeman? Seems someone got the inspiration from his With The Beatles cover. No smile and half their faces in the dark.

Ringo looks strangely like Fred Mertz. I think it has something to do with his posture.

 

I don't think so. Never.showed up in his books or gallery prints.

 

RINGO looks terrible...lift them damn shoulders or you'll get round shouldered...Mama used to say!

 

I think the real cover is great.

Those "fantasy" album covers are pretty cool. I bought a Beatles VI with the "pouring champagne" pose, it's awesome. This is strictly nerdy Beatlefan stuff.
