    Don't Drink the Water (1994)

I really like Michael J Fox but not fond of Woody Allen, just too much of a creep for me. I had a really hard time getting through this one, and even Mrs DC was getting pretty bored with it and that's rare.

DELIVER US FROM EVIL - NYC Cop Eric Bana investigates a series of crimes/incidents that point toward perps being possessed. Kinda dull, too much shaky/close/overcut imagery during "exciting" moments, and
overall pretty familiar stuff. Kinda head-scratching use of Doors music throughout, too. Made me want to watch EXORCIST III again, a much better film that treads similar ground. Allegedly based on a true story.

TAMMY - Melissa McCarthy returns to the "people arguing on a road trip" genre. I don't like her work, and this didn't change my mind. The quietest a theater audience has been for a comedy since I saw A MILLION
WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST alone. (To be fair, it was a matinee on a nice day and there were maybe 5 other people in the theater).

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (3D) - Thought this was a worthy follow-up to the previous film. Takes us to the next stage of the story, and winds up being
the film Apes fans always wished BATTLE FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES would have been. Deep, dark, and contains more humanity (in a film about talking chimps)
than your average summer blockbuster. Not really for kids, though I'm sure a lot will be taken to see this. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I saw a couple of parents pulling very young kids out, I have no clue what they expected this movie to be about, violence and lots of it was expected.

I think a lot of parents (and kids) are thinking this will be a big summer FX adventure, not knowing how dark, serious and brutal it is.

Boyhood (2014) at the rather wonderful Cameo cinema in Edinburgh as I was up that way. Lived up to expectations - one of the most truthful movies I have ever seen.
