"Gotham" & "Sleepy Hollow" from last night. "Gotham" is borderline awesome. "Sleepy Hollow" is just fun to watch.
After I picked up netflix I watched some foreign TV stuff and surfing found a Korean TV show called The Great Doctor, one season only 24 episodes just fantastic superb acting, costumes, locals and Korean history thrown in. takes place in ancient Korea before it was known as Korea and under Chinse rule. The story line is very like Outlander, Doctor goes from modern times to ancient times, its funny, serious, dramatic. Recommend it to those interested in that type TV show
Tonight we watched this weeks Blacklist (pretty darn good) and NCIS (meh, just okay)...saving Gotham for tomorrow.
A couple of days ago started watching Twin Peaks and The Prisoner. I saw both for the first time in early 1991, so it's '91 again for me...
I watched "Orange is the new black", season 1&2. Loved it and can't wait for more. Started "Fargo" now.
I've been watching Twin Peaks, this is actually the first time watching the series. It's wonderfully gonzo.
Gotham - the first two episodes. Not bad so far, I'll try a couple more. The Flash - the first episode. OK but not great It Takes A Thief - Season 1 the first two episodes
First episode of this years American Horror Story and it has my interest - definitely will watch a few more. Last night I was in the room while the latest Bones was on and if I wasn't put off before I am totally now....it's gone from a show I like a lot, to one that was okay, to one that has totally jumped the shark and I'll not watch again - should've been ended after last season if not the one before.
I watched both season 1 and 2 not to bad liked it hope it doesn't get the usual more season script disfunctions! Also have watched Lost Girl and Bitten, tried to watch Being Human just couldn't kept getting worse. Also watched the one about the black jazz, swing band in England Dancing something or other with the guy from 12 Years a Slave very well done.
Thanks wolfram. I just did a "Fargo" search on the Netflix website and the only thing that comes up is the movie, which I've seen several times. I'm not seeing the TV series.
That's strange, since it's a Netflix production. Netflix has only been available in Germany for a couple of weeks now and so far the selection is rather limited. It surprises me that we should have access to anything other countries don't. Are you a member? If not, you probably only see their DVD/Blu-ray rental store, not the streaming service.
That is weird. Yes, I've been a member of Netflix streaming-only service for years now. Hopefully they'll make the Fargo series available here soon. While I do think the streaming service is more limited than their disc offerings there's still far more titles I'm interested in than I'll ever find time to watch.
The Wonder Years - First three Episodes The Blacklist - Sn.2 first episode Mayberry RFD - Sn.1 first two episodes
