Well they are 4" round disc's of DuPont Corion. I had several of the cut for Kenwood KD 500 arm boards several years ago. I have seen Corion used in various areas on Turntables. So I thought this may be a way to isolate the table a bit more from the rack. There are 3, 1/2" Herbies neutralizer dots on the bottom of each disc.
Here's my latest, just after I found it for sale this morning, parts wise it's all there, but obviously it's going to take a lot of money to get it up to it's full potential, having said that I've never previously found an early 301 grease bearing in the wild and I've been looking for thirty years. Incidentally I believe that's a Neat arm fitted to it, but if anyone recognises the model number that would be helpful.
My Brinkmann, I think I like it more than my Kuzma XL although it was supposed to be a downgrade into something more practical.
That Brinkmann is stunning but what are those miniature LP boxes on the bottom shelf of your rack? Ballast?
The stereo image from that seat on the right hand end of the sofa might be a bit, er, compromised! But I'll be it all makes a great sound . . .
Project Xtension 9 Ortofon Quintet Black, A very good unit, however for the price, the Clearaudio Performance is a better package.
Haha husafreak, You do not have to travel that far to taste these goodies, I am sure there is a lot of Lebanese restaurants in the SF bay area. Cheers.
Standby for piss poor pictures with a bad phone in front of an uninspiring background! Project Tubebox II Newish DL-103 breaking in nicely! The whole bit! Listening to Depeche Mode - The Singles 1981-1985.
