For those of you who remember ....... The "Rotating" Dave Letterman Show is now airing on the TRIO network. This is part of their classic "Dave" series.

The image from this 1986 episode of the "David Letterman Show" rotated a full 360 degrees as it was broadcast. 30 minutes into the show the image was perfectly upside down. This was when Larry Bud Melman danced on the ceiling ( using the old upside down camera trick with props to achieve this effect ). As the show ended, it had completed a full revolution and was right side up again. Zany stuff !!!

Dave was at his most creative during the mid-late '80's!

Believe it or not, I have that on tape somewhere (with the original commercials - Michael J. Fox shilling for Pepsi... whoo hoo!).

That he was, and that was a gem....must have given NBC ulcers, as I'm sure Conan did in the first few years with his off-the-wall stuff, which I still miss. I mean, who else would have booked Jonathan Richman?......:D

Was the rotating show with or without the dentist's chair for the guests?
