Got serous acting chops for a funny guy.
Thanks for sharing.
nice...thanks... I still Love Jim!
I remember watching The Mask with the kids when they were young. I still like it a lot, and a couple of other Jim's movies too.
Looks a lot like Walton Goggins in that clip, or maybe the other way round.
Jim Carrey along with the Farrellys and "Clerks" are the best things that happened to Hollywood comedy in the past 25 years.
My favorite performances by Jim can be found in the 2 "Ace Ventura" movies, "Dumb & Dumber" and the first part of "Irene".
I was really impressed with The Truman Show. It was a fairly serious turn, when he was at the peak of his comedy career.
During the heyday of Jim Carrey I wanted to pull my hair out.
What he's been up to lately...
From variety dot com: Venice Film Review: ‘Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond — featuring a very special, contractually obligated mention of Tony Clifton’.
Carrey is one of the great comics of our time - and will be recognized as such one day - plus he absolutely should have got the Oscar for Man on the Moon...
From today's Toronto Sun... TIFF 17: Jim Carrey talks wanting to be a SUNshine Boy and his 'existential journey' in 'Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond'.
Whether or not you are a Jim Carrey fan, it was impressive when he started getting 20 million dollars a film. I believe he was the highest paid actor at the time, and every movie he did was guaranteed to make 100 million dollars.
Awesome! Jim is a Canadian beauty...
people are real friendly around here!
WOW. What a brilliant mind. I'd love to have one of his paintings.
Does anyone remember In Living Color?
I was pretty impressed with what he did with Eternam Sunshine of Spotless Gobbledegook. I thought The Majestic was going to be his "Robin Williams Coming-Out Party", but I guess it was a little more like "The Richard Dreyfus Thud".
I think both Carrey and director Frank Darabont were severely disappointed by The Majestic, and both expected it to be an enormous critical success that netted them big awards. I think in a lot of ways, Carrey's career has not done well in the last 10-15 years.
Issue with the wrong agent, perhaps? Or is he just not a tentpole-unto-himself anymore?
From variety dot com: Jim Carrey to Star in New Showtime Comedy Series ‘Kidding’.
I have enjoyed many things Jim Carrey has done over his career. The more I hear him speak as Jim Carrey the more I realize he has some serious emotional baggage.
The baggage is so large the Samsonite gorilla can't even budge it, let alone throw it around the room.
I wouldn't mind seeing Jim Carrey in heavy roles.
He was rumored to be playing Terence McKenna in an upcoming biopic. I pray to the machine elves that they do it justice.
He's a painter now?
