    So apparently Gimple is out as showrunner. That's a good move. Unfortunately, he has failed "up" into some made-up executive position. That's unfortunate.

    The new showrunner has previously written a bunch of episodes, including a *bunch* in the last couple seasons. Not so good. She has written 20 episodes, but 8 of those are from Season 7 and 8.

    The should have brought someone in from the outside. They need truly fresh eyes on this thing.

    I hope that doesn't mean we have 4 more seasons of Rick vs Negan to look forward to. This whole Negan plotline is tiresome and wayyy beyond its expiration date.

    I doubt Negan will be around for multiple additional seasons. I think they have to recognize at this point that the show is spinning its wheels.
