Our first two songs were loved and left to be seen in our dreams.

DQ: Where do you rank this in KISS' discography?

R1: Love Em and Leave Em
R2: See You In Your Dreams

I don't know where I'd rank it exactly but it's one of my favorites. I find it very listenable.

It’s definitely part of the pantheon of classic Kiss studio albums. I would probably rank it in the top three...

Mr Speed and Hard Luck Woman.

Unlike most KISS fans, I rank this album fairly low. I’d put it even below something like Lick It Up. It’s not their worst, by far, but I think it’s pretty much a middling record.

Dang, See You in Your Dreams is one of my favorite KISS tunes!

Rank the first three above it but probably like it the best of the latter three. If memory serves it was the first "new" KISS album I bought. I believe it was purchased in Newberry's department store in the Green Acres Mall. I remember carrying it around like some priceless artifact while my parents did their shopping.

As studio albums go, I'd probably put Destroyer, the first album, and Creatures Of The Night above it, so I guess that would make it fourth.

    Number one album for me.

Have to say I'm a little surprised Mr. Speed is faring so well. I like the song but always thought it was a little on the filler side.

While other KISS records contain better tracks I feel RaRO is their best 'album' front to back, most consistent. I also think it's the most spontaneous sounding album they've ever recorded, some of the tracks have a bit of a punk influence.

While I like them and both make excellent album tracks I'm deep sixing Baby Driver and Ladies Room.

DQ: I rank this first, just ahead of the debut and Love Gun. Destroyer was my first KISS album and I still like it a lot but much of it doesn't represent KISS to me... too much Bob Ezrin.

I agree with you generally, but when I think spontaneous KISS, I think DTK

    Take Me

Another two of KISS' least enjoyable tunes.

I'd rate RARO above Animalize, Revenge & Carnival Of Souls but that's about it.

I went with Baby Driver and Mr. Speed this time.

I won't rank it. I'll just say that it is a great KISS album and leave it at that.

Welp, I have always loved Baby Driver, but it has to go here along with Hard Luck Woman.

This album ranks behind Dressed To Kill for my favorite KISS studio album.

Oh my GS..........middling record and it's not their worst? Below Lick It Up? Man, I couldn't disagree with you more. But, I know you are a fan and giving an honest opinion.

  21. This is my favorite KISS album and it’s a difficult process to axe most of these songs! My first round cut Love em, leave em and See you in your dreams although I could extoll virtues of both...

For the second round I cut Take Me and Baby Driver.

Ranking.... hard to say as I think KISS has a lot of albums that are pretty close to one another in quality. But, I'd most likely place it in the top 5 somewhere.
Destroyer, s/t, Dressed to Kill and maybe HTH above it.

Would definitely place it above Love Gun.

Yeah, it’s an honest opinion. It might rank 10th or so in their discography for me. They just sound kind of uninspired on this and a lot of the songs seem lazy and filler like. I don’t think it’s a bad album, but I don’t think it’s near as great as many others do.

Changed my vote to keep Mr. Speed around one more round (hopefully). It's one of my favorite KISS songs to play on guitar, man!
