One of my favorite bands. I love this one. Unreal drumming by Brian Downey.

Thin Lizzy - Angel from the Coast.

    Phil solo with Mark Knopfler.

  11. One of the most under-rated bands of all time. (At least in the USA)... We really only get to hear one song of theirs but they had SO many great songs and albums. Truly a shame. Brian Downey is also one of the best "groove" drummers too.

I'd say that Jailbreak, Boys are Back and Dancing in the Moonlight all got significant airplay in the Boston market back in the day.

  14. Agreed - I have heard a few other songs on the radio, but for the most part it is only boys are back. Especially now! (Apologies for the hyperbole. I just love Lizzy and they never get enough love.)

There’s a really good album by album thread for them on here. I can’t remember how far it got before the OP crapped out. Maybe to Renegade ? It’s still a good thread, though.

  21. 'Thunder And Lightning' from 1983 is one of the best Metal albums in my humble opinion.
