That scene um, expanded my horizons as a young man. Ann Margaret is still hot.

Skip the movie. Buy the soundrack and you have the best of it.

I was watching the blu-ray a couple of weeks ago. As much affection as I have for the film, I can't argue with anyone who says it is a bad movie. The sound quality is amazing. The music was so well recorded that every little nuance is demonstrative of just how bad a singer everybody but Roger Daltrey and Tina Turner are.

Last time I saw it was at a drive in 30 years ago.

I have no desire to waste 2-3 hours.

Touche! Clapton was OK, too, although I was not crazy about the arrangement of his song.

I'll never understand the sheer hatred this film instills in some folks.

It's not like it's Robert Stigwood's "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" or anything.

I'm a Who fan and I like it very much.

I even have the soundtrack on the vinyls. Superior version of "Sally Simpson".

It was OK providing you were high enough.

I enjoyed watching the Who perform it in its entirety at the Fillmore East better.

I would rate this slightly better than Sgt. Pepper but not by much.

About the only thing I like about the movie is Clapton's arrangement of "Eyesight to the Blind." The live versions of that song from 1975 with Carlos Santana joining Eric contain some of the greatest jamming of all time.

This movie has very few moments. Mostly overblown doo doo via Ken Russell. Ann Margret did win a golden globe award.

I have a confession to make. There are very few thing in this world that I truely hate but The Who is one of them and "Tommy" the album and film even more so. If I am flipping tv channels and one of their songs is playing on the opening credits to a CSI show it makes me want to drown kittens. End of thread crap.
