I intended to go see this last weekend but real life intervened, will try again on Sunday. This looks like a great mind****.

 

This is a real love or hate it film. Personally I loved it. Johansson delivers her best performance to date and the visuals are extraordinary, not to mention a terrific soundtrack. The plot is secondary although it does (mostly) make sense. Will be interested to see what others think.

 

Just got back from a matinee. It was great. I agree, terrific soundtrack.

Vidiot would HATE this movie.

The trailer doesn't give much of an idea about the plot.... but I like weird, mind-f**k movies and this one certainly looks interesting.

Birth and Sexy Beast were both good films, and I also like Glazer's work on Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity" music video.

 

Is it true this was filmed years ago and she owed someone money or something to do this... Something like that... I don't think she wanted this released ...

Yes, she does several nude scenes and you see basically everything.

 

Not true as far as I can tell. Why would she not want it released? It's a great film! Because she's nude in it? It's done in good taste and I think it's becoming less stigmatized for A-list actresses to do nude scenes these days.

 

She talked about the film on Craig Ferguson last week, she also promoted it at TIFF. So the rumor about her not wanting it released is just that, a stupid internet rumor.

 

I would go see (pretty much) any film she is in where she is the main character...

My favorite film so far this year. Worth it just the for the opening. Excellent music as well. Overall, it was just a strange, awesome movie.

 

I've heard really good things about the movie but don't like Scarlett.

 

Saw it today. Extremely dissapointing. Maybe I'm too stupid to get it. Very boring, no plot and bad pacing. Not sure why critics are loving this so much. What did I miss???

 

I liked "Sexy Beast" so will this a try.

 

Yes! That was a terrific film.
But the trailer for this movie imo looked boring. Thought her last good film was The Island.
