Very well known songs swiped for jingles.

We all know "Rain" by The Beatles. We should know that Burger King had a jingle for years that was ah hum "inspired" by The Beatles song "Rain". Y'all know all kinds of cool music trivia. What other well known songs were "borrowed" to make jingles?

Pharmaceutical companies have a great way of bastardizing classics.

 

And Richard Carpenter did it the opposite way. A bank commercial (Bank Of America) led to "We've Only Just Begun"

 

I find that IBM Cloud commercial's use of Harry Nilsson's "Jump into the Fire" downright bizarre.

 

It's so common I barely notice anymore.........

 

Ronny and The Daytonas 1964 hit Little GTO was well known at one time...revived in the '80s for this Volkswagen commercial:

This song actually premiered as a commercial before it was released as a single or the album was released.
