Walking Dead -
Watched the first series.
Does it get better ?

 

Obviously subjective, but in my opinion it does. It's a show that has its ups and downs but for me, mostly ups. I like it a lot and look forward to the new season. You may or may not like it, I have no idea but you've invested a complete season in it so keep at it. I'd say season 2 was perhaps my least favorite and if you make it through that season it does get a whole lot better. Several episodes last season left me drained. So intense.

 

In my humble opinion, it's all downhill after the first season.

 

What other tv series are you using to gauge in comparison with ?

 

In the Flesh BBC. I watched season one of this the other night (three episodes) and really enjoyed it. An original take on the zombie apocolypse after the recovery.

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm not comparing it with any other TV series.

 

Funny. I accidentally purchased an episode if this show on my Kindle. I was simply scrolling through a list of shows and accidentally hit the purchase button. Now, I'm stuck with it. It's not even the first episode if the season, so I don't want to watch it.

 

New theory from me: the reason why the apparently-evil people are keeping the newcomers in the train box cars is to make sure nobody is actively carrying the virus. Perhaps they're only being kept in stir temporarily.

Has that ever been confirmed? All we've see so far is a bar-b-que with nondescript meat on it.

 

That's too easy. And we haven't seen any evidence beyond the barbecue at the front of the building.

What I wanna know is where the bad guys got all the bullets and ammo.

 

One of the weak points of the show to me is that people are rarely shows scavenging. It appears that 90% of the population has been turned to zombies, so it wouldn't be that difficult to find a good truck, come up with some body armor, and go out and get stuff. A well stocked Wal-Mart or Costco would be invaluable.

 

There were also those piles of human remains picked clean.
