Warming up to the idea of tubes...

    I've been seriously considering a tube amp to power my Nautilus 804's(89 db efficient), however they are not stable, they go down to 3 ohms.
    Would an EAR 534(50 wt/ch) be able to handle this load?
    BTW, my current preamp is an EAR 864, FWIW. :)

    Well, I have also been a tube guy for the past 4-5 years.
    When I heard my amplifier, Tube Technology Synergy for the first time
    with VR-8 I was in heaven! And this 2x150watt will make most speakers sing the blues. And I think it's nice to look at:)
