Somebody else mentioned it in a post before mine. I just checked their FB page and there is a studio photo with caption "It's happening again" (Twin Peaks reference!), so we'll see.

Nils Lofgren - Face The Music - 10 cd boxset. I can't believe it's actually 10 cds but it is!

When does the Swervedriver LP come out? I know they released a new 7" already.

No release date, yet. The band has only said that a new LP will drop in 2014.

Supposedly, Enya & Tears for Fears are working on releasing new albums this year. Really looking forward to those.

On the heels of St. Vincent, I ordered Marissa Nadler and The Wild Beasts today.

Looking forward to Sharon Van Etten (May 26), Woods (April 15), and Elbow soon (March 10).

The Mounties' first album, Thrash Rock Legacy, was released earlier this month...

Just picked it up today... it's the first 2014 release I've bought*. :)

*Actually, I also picked up the new Legacy Edition of Elvis Presley's Recorded Live on Stage in Memphis... but although this particular edition was released in 2014, I still consider it to be a 1974 album. ;)

Officially adding Judas Priest to the list. Not 100% it will be out this year but it is finished so I'm hoping it will.

French singer/instrumentalist Emilie Simon has a new album "Mue" out shortly that I'll probably get.

I really love this older track of hers, especially the live versions. The non-standard way the instruments are played is great, and the very Borg-ish controller thing she's got on her arm is super-cool:

The new album by the war on drugs is terrific! Also, the new miles set from 1970 at the Fillmore is excellent, too. Combined with the truckers' latest, march has shaped up to be a great month for new music!

Provided the new TFF is less like Seeds of Love than ELAHE, good record but very much could be a Seeds of Love 2.
