    "The Horse" - Cliff Nobles.

Great tune, even before 10,000 marching bands played it at every high school football game.

  6. "MBV Arkestra" - Primal Scream with Kevin Shields. Actually a radical remix of the Scream track "If They Move Kill 'Em" by the MBV frontman. It's like an extra-noisy version of Dark Magus-era Miles Davis or something.

    Too many to list.

This one, features amazing guitar playing and I would be surprised if it is not mentioned somewhere already in this thread.

Too many to list, but this morning it’s Hot Tuna, “Water Song”. Jack gets off some great counterpoint to Jorma’s fingerpicking on this one.

I personally like the instrumental of pirates of the carrebian a lot. It gives me the feel and the violin part gives me goosebums always. Listen to the instrumental here.

Here's one from a band called Little Feat. It's been awhile since giving them a listen. I'll have to load up some on a thumb drive for the weeks commute! :agree:

Just listened to Zappa's Peaches En Regalia. It would have to be near the top of my list.

Listened to Sonic Youth "Rain on Tin" and "Pink Steam" today ... just very minimal vocals on each but each is mostly an instrumental, both fantastic and captivating
