What artist/band are you currently addicted to?

Led Zeppelin, because of this forum I have bought the entire catalog of Diament(Sidore) mastered cd's and have been having a blast listening to this amazing body of work!

 

Can't stop listening to the Jayhawks. Totally refreshing.

Phish. 1997 Phish to be exact. While I find vast stretches of their history to run hot and cold, they were consistently inspired in the second half of that year. And the mini 'Island Tour' the following April is something special.

 

Sun Ra. After years of delays, I'm finally making my Sun Ra compilation(s) from the roughly forty recordings I have.

Also, currently listening to a ton of Old 97s.

 

Damien Rice but I think a big part of the reason is that I like Lisa Hannigan in that "special" way ...

Thanks to another thread, I ordered "The War on Drugs" Lost in the Dream. Yikes........................these guys truly are something special. Favorite album this year and possibly for the past few years.

 

Beck - Morning Phase
I can't get enough of this lately.

 

Genesis "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway", for some reason I always come back again and again to this album. Their work between 1970 and 1976 are of my favorites. Same happen with The Rolling Stones early albums.

 

The Dave Clark Five. I'd like someone to point out any improvement in record production over the past fifty years.

 

Steven Wilson. Its been a multi-year, multi-endeavor addiction. Went to his last Blackfield show last night. Super, as usual.

 

Aerosmith--Night in the Ruts. So overlooked.

The King: Elvis Presley. I appreciate his talents now more than ever. What a rich, varied discography he has. Ain't nothing better than falling in love with an artist who has dozens of albums you can buy.
