    Michael I LOVE WIDE S-T-E-R-E-O!

lately it's been a commercial about painful intercourse! utterly disgusting.
of course ran at dinnertime with the rest of the bodily fluid commercials...where do the scumbags come from that would even consider showing these disgusting commercials during the dinner hour?

Obesity in the US is a serious issue.

Those Ford commercials are ubiquitous and annoying as Hell.

Almost as bad as the old Chase Bank commercials that were LOUD - "keep on, keepin on, keep on, keepin on."

I'm not a football fan and had no idea who he was. All I know is, my Time-Warner service totally sucks and the people who man the support lines are idiots. I wish Google Fiber or FiOS would wipe them off the face of the earth.

  6. Nissan is egregiously guilty of this, with a dance troupe I call The Nissan Happy-Ass Dancers who love those cars so much, they just gotta dance!

The Cox Cable commercials that have been showing the past few months are some of the most annoying I have ever seen in my life. The new Jack in the Box commercial where Jack has been reduced to some kind of miniature is irritating as well.

Has there been a Jack In The Box commercial that wasn't irritating?

Not really a commercial, but that Headline News thing that gets played about every five minutes where it shows all the major players on the network and then towards the end it shows Robin Meade doing some aerobic thing and then she blurts out "he's laughing." I hate this with a passion.

I know it is scripted, but the A T &T commercial with Grant Hill. The woman aggravates me comparing her JV basketball "career" to Grant's! And the "good for you".......
And another ongoing bother for me is the Cox commercials. PLEASE change the doofus' name!!

Most of the current AT&T commercials irritate me.....the real estate agents, the swaying whispering parents with the baby (make me sea sick). At least they got rid of the guy with the damn kids.

Really? I think they're all pretty clever. Looks like they put more effort into their commercials than their food.

For me, I can't stand those marionettes on the Direct TV commercials. Something a bit perverted about them. Not to mention irritating as heck.

I might get crucified for this but the recent rash of commercials using military service as a means to sell product really tick me off. I find nothing humane, honorable or justified about taking the image of one of our military members coming home from a war as a means to sell a car. If you want to offer them a discount, that's it awesome but don't use it, or the promise of it, to sell more cars to the rest of America. To be clear, this is not about war, service, politics, etc. It is about exploitation of an image (the veteran, the army ranger, the marine specialist) to create empathy towards a corporate entity that ultimately is aimed at producing profit. We can all see the appeal in the imagery of a soldier coming home from Iraq and her dog jumping up and down in the driveway when he sees her for the first time in years. But what the hell does that have to do with selling a Chevy Volt? Or any vehicle?

The Jack Link's Beef Jerky / Messin With Sasquatch ads. Seems like High School kids in a A/V class wrote and produced these.

If anyone had told me say, 46 years ago, when I was 10, " there'll come a time you'll never watch broadcast TV again, it'll become so annoying to you, your television will be used only for watching home video formats, of your choosing," I'd have never believed them.
But when Fargo recently ended on FX, that's what I returned to.
DVDs, Blu rays, and the local channel's website for weather, and actual news that has a bearing on my life.

With the amount of ads online, I can only imagine how bad TV has gotten. What's a 30 minute show now...15 minutes ?

Yes, and when those boxes(M*A*S*H especially) came out, I realized how MUCH was being cut out in the syndicated cuts, the same apply for 60's sitcoms. In some cases, whole scenes! Used to be that for a half hour show, you could get 21 minutes. Now.....sure seems like a LOT less. Hard to imagine when you're watching a new show it is short. When it gets syndicated, they really slice it up. Some of the early Two And A Half Men, you're lucky if you exceed 22 minutes. Sad...really sad.

The commercials don't' grind me as badly as the time spent airing them. The average commercial break nowdays is about 5 minutes. On Hulu plus its a minute.

The phone commercial with the woman "singing" 'I'm living a life of dreams'. I suppose I'll find out she's some forum favorite, but she really, really sucks. IMO.
