Thanks. It looks like the least expensive Focal model is probably made somewhere offshore, could be Malaysia ...

The Atoll IN400 is over $4000 USD, though I do not remember the exact US retail price. It was reviewed by the TAS not long ago ...

The following Jadis I-35 integrated amp is made in France. But I hesitate to fork over $7,000 for the amp ...

Yes Just went to the basement to take a picture of my Rotel RX 200, It went through a fire at my office, and still worked for years after, Just like the Marantz Commercial of the era. Could not read the screen, just put Sharpie marks for the local FM stations. Wished it looked like this. Have not hooked it up in years. [IMG]

Is this Rotel receiver from the early 1970's?

Yes, early 70's used it my offices for 30-40 years on FM , still have it, I do not know if it still works, plugged it in, but no lights and put a iPhone to the Aux input but I did have any large headphone plugs to see if it still outputs. Worked when I put it away. LOL

Been using a McIntosh 1700, and it's great, but would love to have an all tube 1500.

Trio was never available outside of Japan anyway. Outside of Japan, Kenwood has been the brand-name used until the company retreated from home electronics in recent years ...
