Flat 6 chord, a bit of "mixture" from the parallel minor key. A lovely change when used right!

The bridge in Moonshine Whiskey ain't half bad either.

In the La's 'There She Goes' the mood suddenly darkens as E minor is hit... I love this little section, it gives a darker mood to such a bright song for just a few seconds, then finds its way back to D, and back to bliss :)

Erasure's Chorus is one of my all-time favourite tracks, mainly because of the bridge:

Hopelessly bland lyrics on their own, to be sure, but the music (and Andy Bell's voice) is just heavenly.

Jason Falkner is the master at this. This is just one example (bridge time at 3:06):

    When I was driving once
I saw this painted on a bridge:

That's a great one! Really interesting structure, too - a lot gets squeezed into 8 bars (really it's 7, since the last bar is a drum fill into the lead break)

Shout out to the late Phil Pitcock IV for the absolutely perfect lead guitar work throughout this song - and what a guitar tone, he always seemed to play exactly the right thing for every song and make it sound gorgeous.

The bridge is quite possibly my favorite thing FM has ever done. Builds so amazingly.

I'd go full board and say "Gypsy" was the greatest thing that incarnation of ever did.

That was the peak synergy of Lindsey and Stevie plus the other three executing brilliantly.
