Where will you be sunday at 8:00PM Eastern?

Tomorrow, February 9th at 8pm Eastern.

I know I'll be watching the entire Sullivan show in its entirety exactly 39
years to the minute after my first viewing - will you?

Heck, I'll even do the same for the following two Sundays - how many times do you get the chance to go back in time - almost. :D

<I checked the Sullivan Show Memories thread for any suggestions of this and found none. I also did a search of the entire site and found none>

I might be doing the same. When the DVDs came the other day I thought about waiting to watch them until then, but I couldn't:D

Is that on ABC, as in your avatar? Would be great as there's always the cahnce the sat feed will be in the clear.

Just checked the abc.tv site and no info. Haven't seen any ads either.

BTW, aren't ABC specials the preamble to new Beatles releases?

Maybe we will see soon a colorized, 5.1, NoNoised DVD of the Ed Sullivan concerts. Based on the job they did with the B/W videos in the anthology, I'd guess the colorizing might be a good thing.

I forgot to mention that the 'broadcast' will emanate from my DVD player into my TV monitor - closed circuit, like.

I'm happy to say that ABC has had a great relationship with Apple over the years, and one of the big shots in radio programming has seen me play drums in my Beatle cover band. He had such a good time that whenever he see's me in the hall he shouts, "Ringo!".

He also got me a bunch of Anthology/abc freebies, so he's made me a happy boy!

He says that the next time we have Paul up for an interview he'll be sure to have me engineer. I am perpetually ready for that eventuality.

Bummer! I thought it was a broadcast.

Disney Channel should have done it.

I've already booked family time; we're all gonna be there on the couch!

And no pause, no skipping chapters, just play the dvd strait thru. That's how rock 'n' roll tv used to happen. Like the music, it's here and then it's gone.

My 11 year-old son asked what if we have to go to the bathroom? I said we go during the commercials, and then told him about the drain on the water systems during the commercials of the original broadcast.

This is going to be fun!!
