I have always thought George Michael sounded similar. Probably grew up singing Queen songs over and over....

James Dean Bradfield was comparable around the 'Gold Against The Soul' era.

Well, it's not like the people who sound exactly like Steve Perry, but Freddie does have a lot of people who have his "style", but not exactly his voice. Mika certainly used a Freddie vibe for this song ... (I mean he even mentions Freddie in the lyric!)

Came to post the same thing, Luke Spiller also looks a little like Freddie too, I am quite surprised they didn't ask him to play Freddie in the biopic as well:

Assuming he could act, he should have been a shoo-in.

He'd certainly be a better fit for Messrs May & Taylor than Adam Lambert. However, I really like The Struts so I'm happy enough that hasn't happened!

Nobody I can think of. Although I love Paul Rodgers voice it didn't really suit Queen's music and I did my best to avoid the Lambert era.

    Sorry, I've got to disagree.
Sure nobody has the voice of Freddie, but the first time I heard "How Many Kings" I thought, geeze that guy sounds like Freddie. I mentioned to an office mate that I'd heard a Christian song where the guy sounded like Freddie Mercury and she immediately said "Oh, you mean the How Many Kings song!" So clearly, we weren't the only ones who thought so.

So perhaps your No, No and No applies to yourself, but others clearly can see the similarities.

It's probably not that close a voice, or singing style, but of popular or established artists, once in a while but in a mellower way, I might think a pinch or hint of Rufus Wainwright. A tonic and stylistic stretch I guess but that's all I got here lol.
