At this price I expect the intended audience for The Wall has a name that rhymes with Rump. And he's going to make Mexico pay for his copy.

So, I bought the Super Deluxe Edition and was not amused to find this signature instead of a Roger Waters signature or even the "Love, R" people got. I asked on Roger's Facebook page what it was but didn't receive any answers, just a few people telling they got the "Love, R" signature. Figured someone here could tell me what you think it is. Am I the only one who got another signature from what everyone else has shown?

In some ways it's cooler than his autograph but I would also feel like I bought something that should have included his autograph. I would get in touch with customer service and see if you can get an autograph on one of those placeholders or a napkin!

Is the blu-ray released? Haven't looked in years.

Great album, awesome show. My angel and I have seen Waters performing it 5 years ago, so I would love to see the show on bluray. I don't need the horrible movie.
So: no to the box, yes to a simple bluray.

Yeah, to me too. But, who is Jimmy Smith? I guess I'll just believe I got something unique, but would like to know the story behind it is all.

Would be a bit sad if it turns out to be Roger having a laugh/being playful at the expense of fans who had to delve deep into their pockets for this.

Someone on Roger's Facebook page responded to my question about the signature I got and said he has seen one signed "Love, Johnny Dodds" so the mystery continues

I'm sure Roger thinks he's just being clever... For the price of that Super Deluxe Edition, keep your cleverness to yourself Roger and sign your g/d name!!

I paid 25 € for the deluxe bluray. Haven't watched it yet. Quite a surprise seeing this one in the racks as Amazon had already sold out, I think...

Yeah, one person got this signature. Looks like Roger promised a signature, but not necessarily his own, and that's the official line.

I suppose that there are Waters fans who'd lap up that joke but to be honest my personal reaction is: what. a. dick.

But what is the score? What does it consist of? Why does it need a third bluray?

That would be a pretty $#%@ move even if Waters wasn't some kind of armchair socialist. Sure, nothing says "spread it around" like a wealthy man getting yucks selling a product with an absurd high markup and then delivering something else entirely. :realmad:

Roger has jumped several sharks with this one.

While there's always a bit of "a fool and his money are soon parted" involved with these super, duper, deluxe editions, it does add a bit of uniqueness to each set...

Maybe in the sense of, "Let me see how the artist chose to give me the finger for my $500 investment."

Honestly, it's almost such a jerk move that it's funny - but then I realize that people paid some serious money for this stuff. It almost makes me pine for the guy who fantasized about lobbing grenades into the audience.
