I'll just cut the fluff and jump straight to it. What are some of your favorite a capella tracks? Here are a couple I really like.

I'm not a religious man, but this is pretty good:

And here's an interesting take on a Pixies song:

TV on the Radio - Mr. Grieves

ps - Maybe this thread will inspire you to sing today! Song is good medicine.

Two albums worth by The Belmonts (that one with Candy in the title) and The Persuasions (I think it's Chirpin'). Love those two, even if I forget the titles!

Call me weird, but the Monkees 'live' version of Riu Chiu at the end of one of their TV eps.

(Not sure how 'good' this capture is, though).

This reverb-drenched cover of Roy Orbison's Crying sung in Spanish by Rebekah Del Rio is a favorite. Label your videos people.

The whole album is brilliant. I saw him on that tour and he did the whole album live except "Miracle In The Bazaar."

  18. Back in '70s I worked for a radio station and one of my jobs was to clean out the record library of the old studio when the station moved. The records I found were things the station wasn't playing anymore and to be frank, most of it was dross. But I went thru each and every record looking for interesting things and one of them was a Steeleye Span single - "Gaudete". I'd heard of them but had never heard any of their records. After hearing this, I became a fan. The single got to #14 in the UK in 1973.
