Your Favorite Albums Of 1983

You've asked for members' favorite albums from random years for some time now. What will you do with the results? Or is this just another "list" thread?

 

Just what am I supposed to do with everyone's lists? Do you know how many lists are on each of the threads? I have a fair amount of free time but I'm not sure I have the time or wherewithal to do anything with the lists. It takes a lot of my extra time to read all the lists and reply to everybody. It's more or less just everyone's favorite album lists with the hopes that someone will see an album and go, "Wow. I haven't heard that in forever. I need to listen to that." Or "Huh. I've always heard how great that album is but I've never listened to it. I should definitely give it a listen." Or "Damn. I don't have that album anymore. I need to go on Amazon or eBay or wherever and pick up a copy." That's what's behind these threads, not just to make lists.

Well, from the responses apparently people enjoy listing their favorite albums. I've only been a member for a few months and I'm sure some others are the same way so it's new to us. It's fun. People seem to enjoy it. That's really all that matters to me. Plus, whenever I check a "Your Favorite Albums Of x year" either nothing shows up or if it does, it's an old closed thread. Plus, how many other people make threads like this and then take the time to reply to everybody. From what I've noticed, have the OP's that start thread make the original post and never post again.
