My avatar is the cover of one of the singles from the best lp from 1985 "Around The World In A Day" by Prince.
Another Prince album from this year is Sheila E's "Romance 1600".

My favorites besides these two: Smiths, The Cure, Jesus & Mary Chain.

For me 1985 is the worst year in popmusic. The least amount of albums in any year since 1964, only 26.
