It would have to be one of the School House Rock songs, I think. Not sure which one. I'd have to go pop in the DVD!

One my personal faves that I had forgotten about is the 2nd title music (once you get past the regular Merry Melodies intro theme) is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i11dg1EtWwA

I had forgottten about it until I heard it again on one of the Looney Tunes box sets.

Yup. My vote goes to this one too! :righton:

The incidental/background music from this show was pretty incredible too.

For a recurring theme, I've always like the Gummi Bears Theme song.

For a one off, Mr. Garrison's "Merry Effin' Christmas" always cracks me up.

Vince Tempera from 70's italian progressive band "Il Volo" and "PFM" bass player Ares Tavolazzi wrote the song for the italian version of japan anime Goldrake (Grendizer in the U.S.A.).
At the end of the 70's here we had a Goldrake-mania and the title song received a massive airplay.
The 45 sold over a million copies and it's probably the most loved and remembered cartoon song by italians in the 30-40 age range!

Ares Tavolazzi is also co-writer, background singer of the end titles song (and b-side of the million selling 45 rpm):
    "Shooting Star".
And you can hear him playing bass too:

You, sir, are a master of understatement.

Mel walks with the immortals. Not just a voice artist, but a gifted character actor and a stunning singer.

Try this one on for size. Mel does Daffy Duck does Danny Kaye. Freakin' brilliant...

  19. "Buttercup (I'm A Supergirl)" by Shonen Knife, from The Power Puffs movie.

    Nothing else comes close.

Well maybe "When You Wish Upon A Star"?
