Your favourite obvious filler songs?

Moby Grape's Wow had several great fillers, one being the spoof of their Naked If I Want To from their first album, and the other being Just Like Gene Autry: A Foxtrot featuring Arthur Godfrey and Lou Waxman's Orchestra. And Funky Tunk.

 

Disagree. It’s All Too Much is also great and totally unique. The entire second half is enjoyable even if it’s not Beatles.

The Beatles' "You Know the Name, Look Up the Number"

 

"Superman" by REM was tacked onto LIFE'S RICH PAGEANT at the last minute (it doesn't even appear on the album jacket), but it is one of the highlights of that album in my opinion.

 

Force 10 - Rush

 

I like a lot of the so-called filler songs on The Clash's Sandinista!.........(save for side 6, which is too much filler).

"Lose This Skin" is disliked by a lot, but it's up there as one of my favorite Clash songs.

 

'Lose This Skin' is one of the finest Clash songs of all.

 

Here's the one good song with Doctor in the title, twice!

 

Aside from getting the name of the song wrong; I don't think you know what filler means.

 

sad that my other two favorites Visions Of The Night and Omega Man didn't make your list, they certainly fit the bill

Visions is a bside, and Omegaman is awesome Police deepcut territory, far from filler.

Bee Gees - All This Making Love, Subway. Neither classics from their respective albums, but the former in particular has entertaining lyrics and an idiosyncratic melodic structure.

Although it doesn't feel like it to me.
But Page apparently just threw it together and hated it and they never performed it live.

 

That's because White Album filler is horrible.

 

This has got some great songs. All the rest of it is great filler.
