I've got none of those in my top ten and the exclusion strikes me as arbitrary. Why not exclude The Who if you're just cutting out popular beat comboes? FWIW:
    1. Queen, A Night at the Opera
    2. Genesis, Foxtrot
    3. Roy Harper, Stormcock
    4. The Who, Quadrophenia
    5. Kate Bush, The Dreaming
    6. Tori Amos, Boys For Pele
    7. Joni Mitchell, Blue
    8. Kate Bush, Never for Ever
    9. David Sylvian, Secrets Of The Beehive
    10. The Boomtown Rats, Tonic For The Troops

Queen - A Night At The Opera

    Then...

    Nirvana - Nevermind
Faith No More - Album of The Year
Sly & The Family Stone - There's a Riot Goin' On
    U2 - Achtung Baby
    Radiohead - In Rainbows
    Black Sabbath - Sabotage
    Carole King - Tapestry

How did the Rolling Stones and David Bowie escape the ban on ubiquity? I'm glad they did because both are responsible for a personal top five album.
