I like the quirkier side of Zeppelin. Not a big hard rock guy but I seriously do really like the songs I picked.

For what it's worth, although I detest Grunge, I love Hot Dog.
They nail that rock a billy, boogie woogie vibe on that one.

Turning Memphis Minnies blues staple into a crushing piece of hard rock & in the process creating arguably the bands finest studio hour

The definitive LZ song & the song that blew many young minds in 1969...and still does today obviously

5.Dazed And Confused (Live 73)

This 28 minute Godzilla reworking of their debut side 1 closer was / is psychedelic hard rock at its very pinnacle...

Plants embellishing of Scott McKenzies San Francisco Wear Some Flowers In Your Hair only adds to its 1960s aura

6.Immigrant Song...the 2nd best LZ opening track , to bad the rest of the album didn't hold up like this

7.Heartbreaker - Living Loving Maid...sorry I can't list H w/ out the segueing into LLM...

Even the 45 edit of WWL B- side was LLM , anyway...

Page took the Yardbirds rave-ups to the very limits in stunning detail...

& every time I have always played H I look forward to the blast of hard pop commonly known as LLM

8.Nobody's Fault But Mine...the band took this old gospel standard & transformed it to a locomotive explosion of Metal - Funk Blues...

Making it sound groovy in the process...

I often wondered what Sister Rosetta Tharpe would have thought if she had lived long enough to hear this version of her concert staple

I have this ability to tune out any song that gets over played. This comes from my college daze roomie wanting to b0ne Stevie Nicks. He put on that first FM LP, lifted the arm on his Garrard turntable and let it play for hours while I was reading "No Exit" Maybe Jean-Paul also had a hand in my learning to ignore gambit. I also avoid Classic Crap Rock Radio like it was Thailand gonorrhea.
