Reducing the disaster to the Led Zeppelin association is an insult to the memory of the victims of the tragedy. A pity the disaster has to be associated with such garbage.

Definitely very interesting and very sad.

I had to stop watching after about a minute. I love horror films, even some of the "torture porn" flicks, but real life horror I can't take.

Fair play that chap clearly had balls of steel. It would be easy to dismiss his attempt as being foolhardy but the truth is that the world needs daredevils like him.

For what, exactly? To prove that jumping off the Eiffel Tower is a bad idea? :D

I can't watch this sort of stuff, I just can't. I agree with Steve, there's just too much sadness and horror in life to willingly subject yourself to even more voluntarily. I remember someone showing me the Budd Dwyer footage when I was in my twenties, and it has stuck with me to this day.

I watched the documentary about Dwyer 'An Honest Man' and believe me the entire episode began to seem a lot more tragic.

Bloke was set up and completely innocent.

I didn't actually think footage existed of it until I saw that clip. I had seem a re-enactment of it on some show about "Bizzare Ways to Die".

I've seen that footage too, and although it certainly is graphic, it didn't bother me.... I've seen worse.
