I heard this band for the first time a few weeks ago in a German record shop - the fairly recent vinyl reissue. Knowing nothing of the Yugoslav prog tradition, in my ignorance I was a bit skeptical - to the point of wondering whether it was a new band making up the story about it being recorded in London, unreleased etc! However this thread clearly shows that there was a real scene...
The first side is very ambient sounding but the second - which I loved - is very similar to Canterbury jazz-rock bands like Soft Machine and National Health. I'll definitely be buying it!

It doesn't sound like Canterbury at all.

I'm not denying their originality and maybe not as much as I remember (and Soft Machine was a very poor comparison!), but starting at 15:30 (the section I heard in the shop) for a few minutes there is a clear similarity to Hatfield and the North tracks with 'The Northettes' vocals and Pip Pyle's drumming, and passages of National Health with the same.

Well, nothing on that album is like Canterbury to these ears. For example, I don't hear pastorality of "Canterbury sound". I can hear clear influence of Berlin School of Electronic music on that long intro of the side-long track (side A), but not Canterbury at all.

Oh I would like if some Yugo-prog band have been recorded an album inspired by "Canterbury scene", but it doesn't exist really, except this synth (or it's guitar? or both? I never knew actually) solo at Aerodrom's self-tiled debut album (1979) (other albums of Aerodrom aren't prog at all, but the debut is fantastic) that starts at 5:15 :

An album that indeed has something of "Canterbury" in their solo parts.

Six nights ago Korni Grupa ("Cornelians") played an one-off "comeback" concert in Belgrade. I like the production of gig that being made exactly how the Korni Grupa sounded live back in 1975 at their firewall tour.
