    Hi,
I just saw that ZZ Top's Tres Hombres is going to be reissued via Rhino (or WB?) on vinyl. I already have the original London press and reissue CD, I'm wondering if this is going to be digital mastering to LP or all analog? I'm guessing all the Rhino reissues are just the CD masters pressed to LP (which is what I've read for companies like Earmark).

    Anyone know the details?

Really? Wow, I was way off then!

I think I had read earlier about it planning to be released, but had forgotten about it! Sounds great! :righton:

Did these get issued as planned?

I went to Amoeba to get the two ZZ issues on LP and they did not have them. And I forgot to ask if they were in stock but just not in the Z section of rock?

I think these are gonna take a little while to get out in the market. Some good 'ole RL's will do in the meantime.:)

The date has been pushed back to 9/11 I think.

If you snag any Blue London labels, you'll be well served. :agree:

I couldn't wait anymore. I found a mint condition London of Tres Hombres last weekend for $5.

    :righton: Congradulations are in order.

Those a pretty tough to find as most of them got trashed by many repeated plays and parties.

    Indeed, congrats!

Those early ZZ Top albums make for good party music though. No excuse for vinyl abuse though.

Thanks. I also have a nice London copy of Fandango that I bought earlier this year. I think that most of ZZ Top's albums sound great on vinyl.

I don't have a huge vinyl collection (300-400 mint stuff) but if I could only
keep 20 - 3 would be Z.Z. Top : Rio Grand Mud, Tres Hombres & Tejas.
    They play so nice!

I need to get Tejas on vinyl. That was always one of my favorite ZZ Top albums.

I think my Tres Hombres is a Bell Sound mastering, not RL? Going strickly by memory, not sure Bob ever worked at Bell.

Do I have the wrong damn blue London original.:o
