$10 Led Zeppelin Classic Records Reissues! The Music.com

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet but themusic.com has a sale of some overstock LZ III. BBC Sessions and TSRTS (this one keeps saying SOLD OUT and then a few more show up so keep checking). NO sleeves though, just the white covers. Who cares? Most are $10 a disc!!! So quite a bargain I'd say

Thanks for the heads up Mark. I only managed to snag LPs 1-3 of the 4 LP BBC set, but that's 3 more than I had to begin with!

$10 for LZ III, even without a cover, is an incredible bargain.

 

No worries Darren. Sometimes being a whole day in front of the Northern Hemisphere has it's distinct advantages eh?

 

These sure are bargains, l grabbed earlier the 3 BBC LP's, LZ3, a Sarah McLachlan and Tubular Bells for a mate. TSRTS was already gone. Absolute bargains.

 

As I said to Mark in an earlier PM, what's the bet that LP 4 of the BBC set turns up next week, after we've all placed bulk orders?

Not sure how, but I managed to pick up TSRTS after it appeared to be gone.

Wouldn't that be great! The BBC box set goes for well over $300 these days, Got 3 out of 4 for $30 Might have to watch a bit of Rage and see if TSRTS makes an appearance...

Takes me back to the first time they found a batch of LZ titles. I was checking obsessively 2-3 times a day, just in case.

Ended up buying a UK first press on eBay. Not cheap, but a hell of a lot cheaper than the going rate for the Classic Records 200g. I'll try not to obsess so much this time. I promise.

 

Amazing. l just got a copy of TSRTS and now its disappeared again. Just as well with the garbage on rage!

 

I don't have a vinyl copy of LZ III, so thanks much for the heads-up! I ordered a copy.

A few more things have been added. I picked up a David Crosby - If I Could Only Remember My Name and a Stephen Stills - Stephen Stills LP.

Anyone get their LZ III yet? I got mine a few days ago. Loud popping throughout "Gallows Poll" and into the next track. I can live with it for this price, but I'm just curious if anyone has had a similar experience and also if you guys think these prices are had because these LPs were defective. Maybe I just had bad luck with mine. Still, at $10, I'll take such "bad luck"!
