I saw an article about this in USA Today yesterday, and I forgot to post it here. Thanks for this. I really miss his character. It will be interesting to see how they bring him back.

Thanks for spoiling the whole season for me now. ;) :D

Actually I always wait for the DVD sets so I haven't even seen last season yet, but your title of the thread might give away a secret some people don't want to know about until they see the show.

Man, after last season, they not only have to bring Tony back from the dead, but they need to pump new blood into the entire series as far as I am concerned!

The plot line and the torture of family members ran me off early.

Is Dick Cheney the new technical advisor?

Gotta go! I'm running out of time!

He's going to come out of Jack's shower.

  8. Tony Soprano?
Dave, I haven't started the Season 7 thread yet. We were still using the Season 6 thread for Season 7 updates and I guess in the this case spoilers.

What the heck is goiing on??

We haven't even seen Season 6 here, but the news that Tony lives is enough to keep me watching into the future. The episode containing his death was possibly the worst of the first five years of the show.

I always wondered if it was possible that Tony hadn't actually died, although I wish I didn't know ahead of time that this might be the case (you did warn us in the thread title though :p )! Now if they can find a way to bring President David Palmer back too.. :D

You'll discover that the worst of the first five years isn't in the same league as the worst of season six. The latest one is really that bad, especially when it's all in the family (I won't spoil anything more).

Resurrecting Tony was something they already had in mind for a cliffhanger last season. It's easy to understand: there hasn't been any interesting new character among the "good guys" since season three. Curtis, refurbished Milo or Mike Doyle didn't get any good enough character development to make us root for them. So I see Tony's revival mostly as a stop gap measure rather than a natural expansion of the story.

I'm only into 1 episode of season 3 of Prison Break and already fear it's going down the same road.:sigh:

I hope Tony's reappearance brings good results for the series.

Maybe they cloned Tony. Or maybe it's really his evil twin. Or a robot.
