"A Whiter Shade of Pale" just screams the 60s to my 80s-born ears.

This clip, for so many reasons:
Any "tripp-y" references = 60s. (LSD still legal in U.S.)

Any live performance feat. dancers' in fringe shimmy dresses or go-go boots.

Bonus: This brings forth Ted Nugent!

Reason: Cultural - Telephone Landlines &
Reference "Getting Pinned" = Going Steady!
    Teenagers having harmless Fun/Happiness!

(Music reflecting times = large differences depicted in '60s...
in all decades? - Maybe another thread)

Entire film & soundtrack of Bye Bye, Birdie belongs to 60s, due to

the story being based on Elvis Presley & his induction into the Army.

Addl. FYI - Decades Later Noel Gallagher (Oasis) titled "What's The Story (Morning Glory)?
from overhearing girl he'd spent time with answering telephone w/that greeting.

  6. The T-Bones, “No Matter What Shape (Your Stomach’s In)”, 1965

Originally used in an Alka-Seltzer TV commercial, it became a surprise instrumental hit in the U.S.

Whilst a fun thread, doesn't every song from the 60s belong in this category? or maybe it's easier to find songs that don't sound that they irrevocably belong in the 60s...

Actually I think it has a lot more in common with the '70s than the '60s.

Lol, Liam wishes he sounds like Lennon.

I don't think anybody, ever, has mistaken Liam's vocals for Lennon's.

The video is a hoot, but I love this song. Psychedelic pop at its best.
