I’m not sure if this thread fits better to the visual corner, but nevertheless I want to start this thread because a special edition of the film „A Hard Day‘s Night“ was released today in Germany. Here are some pictures of my gorgeous looking set:agree:

It looks quite interesting! Do you have a list of what is on each of the four discs or a link to this information? Thanks.

Edit: I also have to mention that film is included on normal and UHD Blu Ray, the bonus discs are DVDs:agree:

The bonus content looks great but the design is awful!

    I like the design.
    :biglaugh:

Edit: I just discovered that the artwork is by Klaus Voormann.

Is the German audio dubbing track included? It's a very amusing one, sometimes the dialogue has completely different content.

Nice package but I don't know how something this unique would be issued in only one country. Looking at the bonus content, I'm thinking gray market???

No, it’s an official release by Koch Media. They also published the release from 2014 that was also available in the official Beatles online shop some years ago.

Well, I personally find that for Klaus, this is just some lazy design.

Somehow AHDN is the one where the German dub keeps reappearing on a regular basis (albeit under the original English title, none of that "Yeah Yeah Yeah" bollocks).
With "Help!", one can only get an English version with subtitles. The original German dub seems somewhat lost. Or too embarassing to be released on home media.

I have an old VHS to DVD transfer from the German version of „Help!“ that was broadcasted by the ORF in the 80s:cool:

Frustrating as I attempted to play all 4 disc's but to no avail.....silly me forgot about potential "region" issues and I should have known better after needing to purchase a modified "all region" d.v.d. player year's ago......the bluray player I have is a relatively inexpensive Sony player so I will need to upgrade to an "all region bluray/d.v.d. player at some point.still the physical product of this boxset is really nice.

Thank for Posting the information and here’s the link thingy for the product in question.

I for one like the Cover and I expect all of you dislikers to take your personal “Official Maxwell Silver Hammer” out today and smithereen your copies of Revolver.

For the “mathematically challenged” like myself, the €49.99 today converts to $51.48US or $800CND (actually $66.59CDN)).

    Damn exchange rate!

The disc is PAL instead of NTSC?

    I will check that....
I think Pal.....the 12 inch packaging is nice though and I do have the ability to view the d.v.d. of this as I own an all region player.....still wish my bluray player was all region as I was told by the salesperson that the Sony player I purchased was all region.....my mistake.
